1) Pink du Rocher des Jastres (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Régis

Very beautiful pace, very good wearing of head, full search well crossed, perfectly explored ground, of high nose takes an emanation which it follows and secures an excellent point with authority. Still upon take-off and fire. Excellent retrieval upon order. Excellent.

2)Piruit (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Mercier.

Pace inherent to the breed, restricted search, average wearing of head, has knowledge of birds, recalled by the driver the dog returns and sets out again on its indication, blocks the partridge which concealed itself, still at take-off and fire, Excellent retrieval upon order. Very Good.

3)Rocky de la Vallée de Canbière (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Ceccantini.

Very brilliant pace, excel wearing of head, wide search, of energy, the company. Intelligent dog, control without insisting, secure a turned over point on a partridge which does not want to fly, the dog wants to seize it, respects upon order, the bird conceals itself, the dog blocks it, respects the take-off upon order, still upon fire, excellent retrieval upon order, gives sitted to thehand. Excellent.

4)Radjah des Bugadières (pedigree): Owner Mr Odet, Driver Mr Barbier.

Very beautiful pace, very good wearing of head, the search is regular, the ground is well explored. The dog with bad wind does not benefit from an occasion, the bird runs, the dog tracks it, forces it to take-off and accompanies it. Eliminated.

5)Oural (pedigree): Owner Mr Comte, Driver Mr ?

Small pace, very good wearing of head, restricted search, the dog takes note, goes up on the emanation which it loses in consequence of a unevenness of the ground, it takes again and succeeds in blocking the bird which does not want to fly, forced to take-off by the driver, the dog respects upon take-off and fire, quickly finds and correctly retrieves. Very Good.

6)Noan des Bugadières (pedigree): Owner and Driver M Barbier

Good pace, very good wearing of head, search well in the note, the ground is well explored, dog lacking punch, shows an excellent nose, goes up an emanation on a hundred meters and secures an excellent point, still upon take-off and with fire, excellent retrieval upon order.Excellent.

7)Happiness' Bulldogs Salluste (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Henri.

Small pace, very good wearing of head, restricted search, shows nose, by far indicates goes up quickly on the emanation, blocks, puts at rise, continues a few meters and stops upon order.Eliminated.

8)Maxi (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Delattre.

Good pace, good wearing of head, searches restricted, leaves a bird on several occasions which it cannot locate. Eliminated.

9)Pronto du Rocher des Jastres (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Fort.

This dog has never hunted before. Small pace for the begining, pushed by his driver he does better, but miss one time the game, taken back ans launched again, makes a short point, stays quiet when the game flies and the gun is shot, easily finds and naturaly retrieves the bird. Chien. Good.

Contest II: Judge M. Comte

M. Mercier Luron du Rocher des Jastres

1)Mousse du Rocher des Jastres (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Barbier.

No opportunity.

2)Rolls (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Berger.

Very young dog without hunt and game experience, takes an excellent point on a partridge and accompanies a bit under the wing, for the retrieval the owner must catch up with the dog to have the game. Eliminated.

3)Olaf dit Orion (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Dunan

Very good practical gun dog, having large means to channel. Stops a partridge in a beautiful way, still upon take-off and fire, the bird is missed, cold retrieval refused. Eliminated.

4)Lima du Rocher des Jastres (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Carmentrand.

Excellent practical hunting bitch, does not miss experience but also of defect in her raising. The first partridge is put immediately at rise. Taken back again by its driver finds us a forgotten bird that it stops firm, still upon take-off and fire, very difficult retrieval. Eliminated.

5)Mira Bella du Rocher des Jastres (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Henri

Good bitch, a little too much tendency to track, small pace of practical hunting, takes an indication on the ground which it follows on thirty meters to end up putting the bird at rise without having stopped. Excellent retrieval.

6)Luron du Rocher des Jastres (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Mercier.

Excellent dog, very good wearing of head, energetic and constant gallop, full and well balanced search, ensures us a very good point of high nose, still upon take-off and fire, impeccable retrieval sitting and in the hand. Can claim the highest reward. Excellent.

7)Ravaude (pedigree): Owner and Driver Mr Petit.

Young bitch not revealed yet. However takes an excellent point, still upon take-off and fire, supplements us the whole by a natural retrieval... some provisions without the shade of a doubt. However the search misses scale to enable us to push her to the final. Excellent.

M. Régis M. Ceccantini Pink du Rocher des Jastres Rocky de la Vallée de Cambière

First couple: Pink and Luron.

Two excellent dogs, brilliance, energy, broad and regular search, two excellent long points and of high nose from Pink which unfortunately ran under the wing at each take-off, perhaps by jealousy.

Qualified for the final: Luron

Second Couple: Rocky and Noan

Rocky dominated its competitor, nevertheless very valorous, by its brilliance, its excellent wearing of head, its search and especially its smelling power which enables him to detect at long distance, to go up, to block, to run upon order, respect take-off and fire, excellent retrieval.

Qualified for the final: Rocky

Final:

Excellent work of the two subjects with a light superiority to Rocky for its brilliance, its wearing of head, and especially its great nose.

As in the first turn, it takes note of birds by far, goes up quickly on the emanation, blocks, awaits wisely the arrival of the driver, runs upon order, blocks again the runing bird, its competitor passes in front of him, the dog does not move, the competitor takes the stop for its account, the bird flies, the two dogs are motionless upon the take-off and fire. Rocky, beneficting of the point, carries out an excellent retrieval upon order.
