We had three BdB there, Hondo's Bella alias Mayapedigree 3rd, Cody du Pech de Cayrolpedigree 5th and Rufnit Fletcherpedigree 7th. The event had 22 entries so all in all we did great.
The situation was to find three birds (Chukars/Perdrix) in 10 mns in a 2.5 acres (1 Hectare) field. Extra shots cost 1 mn added to your time.
Marcel was shooting well on his run with of Maya and not so good with Abby (his GSP) but his run with of Maya was smoking fast.
Same with me and Cody who was exceptional in this run and is really showing some execellent dog work.
Unfortunately for Fletcher I had to shoot twice and caused a log retrieve on the last bird the bird ended up deep in the woods and I don't know how Fletcher found and retrievd that bird,
he may have climbed a tree because that bird was not hit very had. As we say in te Tournament biz: I choked on the money bird, or we would have been done under 3 minutes.
Interestingly without the 1 mn penalty for the extra shot Cody still beat Fletcher by just under 1 second, she now is remindding him of this fat DAILY!!!
