Mister the PRESIDENT of the Club du BRAQUE du BOURBONNAIS
I would like to tell you about the pleasure I had to answer to your invitation to the event of the 12th of November in CHARROUX.
I knew the efforts of your club to revive our braques du Bourbonnais and it is pleasant to see that your success will be, very soon, recognized by every body. On one part the type start to be fixed like the one our ancestors have known, but moreover I saw several subjects which have nothing to envy to the best continental breeds. This, however, is not a surprise for me, as during the European Inter-Braques Field of Arthies, the Bourbonnais LURON contested the final for the CACIT and this is a clear indication of the success of your action.
But what I appreciated the most, it is the excellent atmosphere of your club, and gathering together sixty persons, for a born again club, is close to an exploit. Moreover the satisfaction of the former members of the club which were near me at the table (I apologize to them to have forgotten their names) was the best evidence of the revival of your club.
Perhaps have you still got a long way to go, but, Mister President, you succeeded in creating. You have perhaps still a long way to go, but, Mister President, you succeeded in creating emulation, the rest will follow easily.
